What Lowes in Michigan will accept Home Depot 20% off Coupons still?

fdnasal asked:

List any Lowe’s in Michigan that you know of that will accept the Home Depot 20% off Coupon that was given to their employees for a holiday gift.

Does anyone know if the Lowes in the Detroit area are still accepting these coupons? I want to buy one off of ebay, but want to make sure that Lowes will accept them.

Nellie

Is it a bad idea for the Home Depot to give seminars for work which should be done by a skilled electrician?

♥Mom Of Irish Twins♥ asked:

I am an electrician and disagree with places like the Home Depot giving seminars on wiring. A little knowledge can be dangerous and I wonder how many people have burned down their houses or electrocuted themselves after taking one of these seminars. What do you think? Should they be allowed to give crash courses in something that should only be done by a cerified electrician who has spent YEARS learning his trade as opposed to a few hours on a Saturday afternoon?

How much are 2 replacement home keys at Home Depot?

December 7th, 2009
home depot
karmagfaqs asked:

My grandma lost her pair of keys to the front door of the house so she gave me $20 to use my pair to go to Home Depot and have them replicated. How much exactly is the cost of the whole ordeal and how long will it take?
To Chris - Don’t be offended by the wording. It’s just the way I type. Anyways if you really want to know indepth, my mom is trying to kick her out because my grandma had a tendancy to beat her and lie to her as a kid. I’m just being nice by making her keys again and I just wanted to know the price because I thought it was going to cost like $10 each or something. Don’t go saying I’m immature since my mom told me not to go make her the keys.

How much does a reel of wire at home depot cost?

December 3rd, 2009
home depot
Wolf asked:

I need probably about 500 ft. of either 14-2 or 12-2 (haven’t really looked into the specs of what i need yet but i know it will be one or the other..just gotta look…) I was thinking it would be smarter to buy a 500ft real rather than a bunch of smaller boxes….does home depot sell them? if so how much are they?
Oh and just in case anyone asks or can give me a recommendation on what size wire to use… its for a heater/ac circuit in rooms at a hotel. each room is getting a breaker that will have a baseboard heater hooked to it and a single outlet for an AC. And the baseboard heater will be drawing about 1250W or 1500W (depending which we decide to go with) and I’m not sure what the AC will use..i guess that depends on the AC but all the baseboard heaters will be the same. so any recomendations wuold be nice. thanks.
I went to a vo-tech school for 3 years for electrical, and i learned a whole lot of stuff, just never learned wire or breaker sizing. So i know electrical work, just not how to size it right. And its more of a bar/hotel, the first floors is a bar/restaurant and the 2nd and 3rd floors are hotels (more or less just rooms with dressers and beds…which is really a hotel…) I should be able to use the romex though, i mean the rest of the house is wired in romex from what i’ve been able to see, and i’ve seen most of everything thats not behind a wall (breaker boxes, tore down a couple walls, ect.. )
correction, its on the 2nd floor, not the third, and there is a sub panel on the second floor that i’m gonna run the wires to, so it won’t be all the way from the basement, i think the furthest wire might be around a 100 foot run…. just guestimating off the top of my head though…

How does Home Depot measure customer satisfaction?

Does Home Depot have or rely on some type of metric to measure customer satisfaction? Do they have surveys or things for customers to participate in to measure how customers feel about the store and the service they received? Will vote for the best answer.

italiandudeinchicago asked:

I have seen these plastic grow bags online. I was wondering if Home Depot, Menards, Farm and Fleet or some store like that would sell them? I don’t have any special gardening stores by me but was wondering if anyone knew if a normal chain store or wallmart or something might sell them?

Is home depot expo design consultant good?

November 7th, 2009
home depot
jan asked:

For a retainer fee of $750, Home Depot Expo will provide me a designer who would work with me on finding items for my home and color blending. When I use their service (installation and products sold in home depot) that equals 5k or more, my $750 will be refunded.
Saleslady said the designers are not on commision so they are not going to make a profit on selling me any certain item. Also, installation fees are basically set.
Doesn’t this sound like a good deal? I need help with finding the right color blend for my living and dining room walls, hardwood floors , new cabinets for the kitchen and new window treatment. Sales lady said they can help me co-ordinate colors and someone would come over to my house for 2 hours next week.

What do you think?

Jonathan
