I compared a cinch crimp fitting that i bought from a supply house to a fitting at home depot and they look the same. But do they work the same way?

i would stick w/ pex brand. i would think they would have to be the same size because the pipe is standard size. i would hate for an “off” brand to fail and have hot water spewing everywhere.

They’re probably made by the same manufacturer, but just sold under a different name. You see this all of the time with different products on the market. With name brand, you’re just really paying for the brand’s name and advertising. If they look exactly the same, I ‘d go with the least expensive.
