Does anyone have experience with the Glacier Bay toilets from Home Depot?

I’m remodeling two bathrooms in my house and am considering buying glacier bay toilets from home depot. They appear to be chinese knockoffs and are only $99 compared to others which are ~$300. Does anyone have any experience with these toilets?

Not sure the brand but the cheaper toilets are usually smaller and sit lower. I have found this to be a problem as you get older it’s harder to squat real low.

I’ve installed a few and never had anyone call up with a problem. Just remember that new toilets don’t use as much water to flush as the old ones so you might have to double flush. That’s about the only complaint I’ve ever heard about replacing old toilets.

Home Depot usually has a display with all the info about the toilets on the wall. Read it. Does the toilet you are thinking about have a fully glazed trap? Large discharge opening (they range from 1-1/2 to 2-3/8″). A good fill-valve? These are things to think about before saving money and regretting it in a week or so. The American Standard Cadet (for the same price) has all the good features including a Fluidmaster 400A fill-valve.
