IC core? Give it a coat!!! asked:

I have worked several years as a mechanical troubleshooter, and have no advancement opportunities. I currently make twelve dollars an hour, with minimal benefits.

Would Home Depot be a better place to work?

Thanks in advance.

Carlos

I work there, and it depends on the location, state, and how they see your experience. You can ask for more than your current pay by one or two dollars and then you can begin to work your way up. There are several areas where advancement is possible.
      Good Luck!

I live in Virginia. They start their wage at $8.50/hr. If you work in the sales department (commissions), you make more.
