What is smallest quantity of paint Home Depot or Loews will match?

SarnoB asked:

I replaced a damaged section of 3″x3″ wood siding on my home. I want to take a color sample to Home Depot or Loews and get some exterior color matched paint to make the repair less noticable.

What is the smallest quantity of paint they will color match and sell me? I would hate to have to buy a gallon of pricey exterior paint for a 9 square inch section of my home.

Probably a quart, but maybe a pint.

A quart but a gallon would give you a closer match

Your going to have to get a quart, the mini sample sizes are just for interior paint, so you won’t be able to get those.

I believe they will only give you a pint size and only in a flat.
